10 ways to decode what your girl is REALLY saying

This one’s a red flag. Changed, what a generalised word with subjective possibilities! Most of us shut our women down by telling them that they’re hallucinating. And maybe they are? But what if there’s more to this?

1.Moody

Women and their moods are strange bedfellows. They are perky and suddenly there’s a dark cloud and a look in her eyes that cries murder. If you’re home, you can ask her what’s wrong; but if you’re outside, pray to all the male and women Gods you know and hope that the dark clouds save the rain for a place that’s private. I’ve learned that there are several factors that affect a women’s mood – PMS, hormones, their weight, us checking out other women – you get the drift.

Women decoded: Let’s cut them a little slack here, eh! If it’s any of the factors above, they’re entitled to their moods. And refrain from cheering them with ice cream; an expensive box of Swiss chocolates, now that will be something.

2. Too Nosy?

How was work? Who is he? Who is she? What did they say? Why this, why that, why the other? How much does your boss make? Why is that file confidential? Aren’t you supposed to share everything with me? Pigs will fly, cows will bark, humans may mate with aliens but women’s questions are never-ending. I mean, they can go on and on and on again.

Women decoded: I understand that the ceaseless questions are gut-wrenching but it’s only because she wants to be more involved. And, in case you want to shut her up, kiss her. Simple!

3. “You’re Eating Too Much”

Wouldn’t you like to dig in to that juicy burger ad oily fries without a pair of eyes looking at you? I think (like most of us men), come on woman, I want to eat, let me eat. The scales are enough to give me a heart attack and if I’m going to get one anyway, I’d rather die-burger-happy. Reality – I dig into that juicy bit of calorie-filled goodness and promise to cut back on a few other things.

Women decoded: This statement is the bane of most of our lives, but she’s just looking out for us. I mean, if it were left up to us, we’d eat ourselves fat. Let’s give them a little credit here.

4. “You’ve changed”

This one’s a red flag. Changed, what a generalised word with subjective possibilities! Most of us shut our women down by telling them that they’re hallucinating. And maybe they are? But what if there’s more to this?

Women decoded: This is her cry for getting the spark back. It’s natural to go with the flow once we settle in the relationship. But sometimes, it’s time for us to pause and recapture some of the lost magic.

5. “You’re taking me for granted”

This statement is going to go down in history as one of the oft repeated one by ALL the women in the world. I usually roll my eyes and say nothing because no matter what I say, an argument will ensue. I’ve just taken to answering this by giving her a hug.

Women decoded: Let’s face it; taking one another for granted is bound to happen at some time. In fact, it will happen a lot. But, when she tells us that we are taking her for granted, then I take a step back, do something nice, and make sure that I keep “granted” checked!

We love women more than we hate them, guys, and all said and done, they’re allowed a little drama once in a way. The key is decoding them. If you try understanding them, you might go bonkers trying!
