The nominees for the 12th Annual Black Entertainment (BET ) Awards is out and two Nigerian acts, 2face and Ice Prince have both been nominated in the coveted ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category.

Both artistes have now been nominated twice in this category, if 2face wins the award this time, it would be his second win in the same category. He received the award in 2011.

Other artistes in that category include; Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa), R2Bees (Ghana) and Radio and Weasel (Uganda)

The nominees were announced at a press conference with rapper Drake swooping 12 nominations including video of the year while  Kendrick Lamar & 2 Chainz got eight nominations each

Chris Brown and R. Kelly are to perform at the awards show on June 30 from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live.
