The Nigerian Secret Service said today that it had nipped in the bud an attempt to kidnap one of the daughters of late President Umaru Yar’Adua.

The State Security Service (SSS)  revealed this through its spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar.

Ogar reportedly said two suspects, including a fake army general, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
