Jailed American music superstar, Chris Brown has joined thousands of others all over the world to demand for action from the Nigerian government to facilitate the release of 234 schoolgirls abducted from their dormitories in Chibok, Borno State.
Chris tweeted to his over 13 million followers from his official Twitter handle calling on everyone “to lend a voice by asking (Nigerian) authorities to #BringBackOurGirls.”

The award-winning music superstar is presently in jail after being convicted for assault with hearing on his case not due until June 25. Police took Chris — who is charged with punching a man in the face in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 27, 2013 — into custody on April 2 and transported him to D.C.
Other international celebrities who have lent their voice to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign are Keri Hilson, Russel Simmons, Taraji P. Henson, Mary J Blige, T-Boz and many others.
YNaija.com, the online newspaper for young Nigerians, has joined others in calling for the release of the abducted schoolgirls by activating a countdown on its homepage to mark the time since the kidnapping of the victims by Boko Haram militants on April 14.
