Curtain call! 2011 Hennessy Artistry closes as headliners visit Rehab

2011 Hennessy Artistry is making a home run as the final phase of the Hennessy Artistry VIP night held at different night clubs in different cities shuts down with a final gig this weekend. The last of the 2011 VIP club visit will be to Rehab Night Club in Lagos.

“As the team returns to Lagos this weekend for the final VIP Night, it is going to be a blend of fun, surprise and unlimited excitement. With an eclectic combination of pop, rap and R&B, the trio of Banky W, Tiwa Savage and eLDee will deliver the supplies and keep the crowd on their feet all night,” an official statement brags.

The Hennessy Artistry VIP Club tour is headlined by the 2011 team song composer, Banky W, eLDee, Tiwa Savage and Jesse Jagz.

“I can’t wait for the final VIP party, touring with eLDee and Banky W has been fun. This is the final party, but this is not the end of the journey, wait till you see the video for “Toast to the good life” Tiwa Savage said about the tour that had visited Abuja and Port Harcourt.

Since inception in 2006, Hennessy Artistry has been creating a mix of hip and inspirational music from around the world. International artistes that have been involved with the music platform included Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, LL Cool J and Fabulous.

Last weekend, the Hennessy Artistry train made a stop in Port Harcourt, with hits makers Waconzy and Banky W aboard. Currently in its fifth edition, Hennessy Artistry is was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007. Through the years, it has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a battle of DJs and now a platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes.
