If this happens to you, don’t respond in this way.  A woman in Florida may now spent quite a bit of time in prison for stabbing her boyfriend after he passed gas at her.  Deborah Ann Burns told police that the “attack” occurred while she was minding her business and watching TV.

Her boyfriend Willie, who she’s been dating for six years, walked by and “farted in her face.”  This sent her over the edge, leading her to confront her man.  The problem was that the more she argued with him, the more disrespectful he became.  According to the Collier County Sheriff’s report, the woman then went into the kitchen, grabbed a knife and threw it at him.

The knife hit the 53-year old man in the stomach, leading to an injury that had to be treated by paramedics. Burns is being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She is also being held on $50,000 bond.

This is her second major assault charge. Burns also spent nearly two years in prison for assaulting a police officer.  Not sure if he farted on her or not.
