In another exciting cross-continental movie collaboration, John Dumelo (Accra), Nia Long (Los Angeles), Omotola Jalade Ekeinde (Nigeria) and Ama K. Abebrese (Accra) are set to appear together in upcoming movie “Ties that Bind”.

“Ties that Bind”, a film by Turning Point Pictures, is written and directed by acclaimed director Leila Djansi, who was recently recognized by the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) for her movie “I Sing of A Well”. Her latest movie tells the story of  Adobea, Buki and Theresa – three women  from different walks of life, yet bound together by their experience of the pain of losing a child.

According to the film’s synopsis: “…As destiny unites [the three women] in a small village in Kroboland, the women journey together to redemption, love, life and forgiveness as they renovate a dilapidated clinic for the villagers.”
