In many countries especially in the Orient, paying respect to the dead with gifts like food and money is accepted. But in Taiwan, this practice has been taken to a sexy level with strippers peeling off clothes to honour the dead.

According to an AFP report, pole dances and stripteases are performed at these religious events to “appease the wandering spirits.”

We reckon crying at these funerals might appear somewhat awkward, not with the sexy show put on to appease the spirits.
