He’s baaaaacck! But he’s not looking so good – LOOK at Schwarzenegger Photos

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to Hollywood has been highly anticipated. But of course even big star like The Terminator actor has to make some sacrifices.

The former Governor of California, 65, showed off his very short back and sides crop – which he was given for his role in upcoming movie Ten.

The actor showed off his greying hair around the temples, which was cut high on the neck in a severe fashion while the darker locks on top were slicked down.

The thuggish new look is for the action drama in which Arnie plays crooked DEA agent John ‘Breacher’ Wharton.

Directed by David Ayer (“End of Watch”), Ten tells of an elite DEA task force who find themselves being killed one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house.

Schwarzenegger is playing one of the ‘ten’ crooked cops, along with co stars Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Malin Akerman, Josh Holloway, Terrence Howard and Mireille Enos.

In a photo Arnie tweeted from the set, the action star revealed neck and forearm tattoos, retro styled haircut.

Meanwhile Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian character once again.

Universal Pictures cut a deal for The Legend Of Conan, an action film slated for 2014 starring Arnie in the role that launched his movie career in 1982.

The actor was seen relaxing on a shopping trip in the Soho area of the city as he strolled across the street to buy some oatmeal cookies at popular eaterie Dean & DeLuca.

Dressed in a smart casual style in a blue checked jacket over a pale blue shirt, teamed with brown suit trousers and black shoes, and he walked amongst unsuspecting New York shoppers, munching on the cookies he’d just bought at the trendy deli.

The Terminator star was in New York to receive the United Nations Correspondents Association’s Global Advocate of the Year award on Wednesday.

Arnie was presented the award by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. He started non-profit organisation R20 in 2010, and has been highly involved in tackling climate change.

He is also an executive producer on a new Showtime documentary series set to air in 2013 that will explore the human impact of climate change, according to the network.

James Cameron, who directed the first two Terminator films, is also an executive producer.

Arnie recently completed a book tour for his autobiography: Total Recall, and he gave several high-profile interviews where he discussed the marital infidelity that resulted in his lovechild, Jospeh, being born.

Last year, after Arnie had completed his second term as the ‘Governator’ of California, he announced his split from Maria Shriver, his wife of 25 years.

Arnie had confessed to Maria that he had fathered a child with the family’s housekeeper of 20 years, Mildred Patricia Baena. Jospeh was already 10 when Arnie came clean, and it emerged that Mildred had been pregnant at the same time as Maria.

TV presenter Maria, who is a niece of the late Democrat US President John F. Kennedy, confronted the star when she suspected that Arnie was the father of Mildred’s child, and the pair separated soon afterwards.

Arnie and Maria have four children together, and they continue to come together as a family for occasions such as their daughter Katherine’s graduation.

Arnie’s new film The Last Stand, in which he plays a sheriff who must protect his town from a violent fugitive heading their way, is out on January 25.
