Hey, didn’t we forget something? Kids leave their dad at a gas station only realizing a hundred miles away

Kids don’t like their dad to come along when they go on vacation. These kids didn’t even realize their dad is missing for 100 miles.

Summer vacation has been anything but boring for this Memphis family.

A Texas father thought his children were kidnapped Monday morning when he was left at a gas station.

The man, who declined to be named, said he was left behind after leaving the road at New Brunswick to eat and fill the gas tank near the Holiday Inn.

According to Father, “Someone had been sleeping all night in the back and they would drive and he would come back and sleep. I went inside to get my change for the gas and thought it was already loaded and locked all the doors and left.”

The father tried to call his own cell phone, which was still in the van, but no one answered.

“Six different cell phones and no one answers and my phone is there because it is in the charger and
no one answers and then it starts to go directly to voice mail. I mean, that’s weird,” said the father of Texas.

The father said that since he thought their children were kidnapped, he called the police. But it was a social networking site that helped him find his family.

The man uses a computer in a local motel to get in touch with someone through Facebook, which helped him reach his family. The truck was about 100 miles away by the time he contacted his family. The father feels confident that the incident was simply a mistake.
