The news of an engagement between the MAVIN first lady, Tiwa Savage and manager, Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun and came to many as a surprise after several denials from both subjects to the effect that their relationship is nothing more than a professional one.

Rumours came out earlier in the year saying both individuals got married secretly but the two of them came out also denying these.

On his part, when speaking with YNaija on the issue, Tee Billz denied it saying those who are insinuating a relationship between them both do not have facts adding that any rumour of a relationship between them both is just a figment of the writers imagination.

According to him, “The story is not true, these bloggers just publish what they like without doing their findings.”

When pressed further, the soft-spoken manager, insisted that it wasn’t true.

“I have heard all the rumours, whenever I hear them I just laugh to myself.” he said.

However, with the public proposal done by Tee Billz at the Eko Hotels and Suites on Tuesday night at a dinner celebrating Tiwa Savage’s birthday, the truth is finally out that there definitely is no smoke without fire.

Others even insinuate that relationship between them both have been a longstanding one.

Efforts to get through to both lovebirds have proven abortive.

Tee Billz, however, responded to our enquiries saying he is not talking to the media at this time.

“I am not granting any interview at the moment. Thanks,” he said.

We say congratulations to both of them as we wait for what happens next in their relationship.
