by Isi Esene

There are indications that the explosion which occurred earlier today at the military protestant church within the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji, near Kaduna, was caused by two cars rigged with powerful explosives.

Reports say at least ten people have been confirmed dead in an attack which happened around 12:30pm today.

The director of army public relations, Brigadier Gen. Bola  Koleosho, confirmed the attacks.

The two cars rigged with explosives rammed into the church within seconds of each other, said an eyewitness.

Considering the number of people critically injured and the ferocity of the attacks, observers say they expect the death toll to rise.

The exact number of casualties cannot be confirmed at the moment and no group has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack.
