#MinisterialPlatform2013: Alison-Madueke, Sada, ministers of petroleum and mines and steel give mid-term today

The 4th of a month-long series, Ministerial Platform 2013, designed to provide details on President Jonathan’s mid-term report, which began on June 3, 2013 holds today at the Radio House, Abuja.

The Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke and her counter in the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Musa Sada are billed to make their presentations to the nation, according to a statement released by Charles Chikezie, Director Public Communications of the Ministerial Plaform.

Yesterday, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala , the Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy and the Minister of Finance and Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the Minister of Sports made their presentations.

Last week, the Niger Delta Minister, Elder Godsday Orubebe, the Minister of Labour and Productivity,  Chief Emeka Nwogu, Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Darious Ishaku, Transport Minister, Sen. Idris Umar, Works Minister, Arc. Mike Onolememen, and Minister of State Works, Amb. Bashir Yuguda attended the Ministerial Plaform. Both events which held on June 3rd and June 6th were attended also by the Information Minister, Mr. Labaran Maku.

The Ministerial Platform, an initiative of the Ministry of Information is “designed to promote national conversation and good governance” was attended by the media, organised civil society, the private sector, professional guilds, and organised labour to “make the national conversation on the nation’s development process fully participatory”.

The Ministerial Platform comes up between 11am and 1pm will run will be broadcast live on NTA, FRCN, VON, AIT, and Channels Television as well as the website of the Federal Ministry of Information.
