The South East spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Osita Okechukwu, has described the opposition party as the fastest vehicle for the actualisation of president of Igbo extraction.

He stated this during a campaign rally held at Eke in Udi local government area of Enugu State.

He insisted that under the PDP, it would be practically impossible for Ndigbo to produce the president or vice president in 2015 on the ground that President Goodluck Jonathan is a brother to Ndigbo and they cannot therefore deputise him.

“Secondly, for 2019, it will be wishful thinking to wish that PDP will nominate an Igbo; because the rotation-convention is predicated on North versus South.

“Therefore, a careful analysis of the gazette that APC presents is the fastest vehicle for Ndigbo to become president or vice president in 2015 or 2019”, he stated.

Mr Okechukwu advised Ndigbo to vote for APC in local government council elections coming before 2015 and especially vote for Senator Chris Ngige as the governor of Anambra State.
