Most people have to undergo security checks at some point in their lives. It is a basic procedure that can be done at a bank or at an airport or elsewhere.

What these women went through however, was anything but basic. The woman in the photos is supposed to be conducting a Boko Haram compliant security check but we’re not really sure what s/he’s searching for.
