Former band member of the afro pop group, Da Natives, A’JAY Prestige, has released not one but two new singles. Following the successful release of his first single, “Forever and ever” in June 2011, Ajay dropped two new smash hits last week titled “Na Gode” and “Can’t get enough”.
Since leaving Da Natives, the talented songwriter, entertainer and vocalist has written songs and performed with the likes of Tuface Idibia, Black face, Faze and Kween. His genre of music is contemporary RnB/Hip-hop fused with dancehall and he writes lyrics that mixes English with various Nigerian dialects.
During his days with Da Natives, A’Jay whose real name is Agon John rocked the airwaves in 2005 with hit singles like Draw Nearer, Shain Pe’pe and toured with Tuface in Europe, U.S and Africa. He is now signed under Sleekbeatz Recordz, an international record label.
