As Babatunde Fashola, Action Congress of Nigeria governor savours his victory over ‘okada’ riders this morning, the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur, also has cause to be thankful.
The suspects are accused of collecting billions as subsidy payment without importing any petrol.
Another Lagos Court Judge has ordered the release of the international passports of Mahmud Tukur, who is his son.
Tukur and others are being tried for what has been called the “fuel subsidy scam” running into billions of naira.
The judgement came this morning.
I feel sorry for this Country. So so sorry. The whole system needs overhauling.
