Human rights lawyer, Bamidele Aturu died on Wednesday evening after a brief illness.

Reports say Aturu, 49, slumped earlier today and later died while receiving treatment in an undisclosed medical facility.

His death was confirmed by Debo Adeniran, his colleague and chairman of the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL).
