Kayode Adewoye, an assistant commissioner of Police who presides over the Police Training School, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, was found dead in bed by his family at his residence in Ikeja, GRA on Tuesday morning.

Adewoye, 53, who joined the Nigeria Police as a Cadet in 1990, had reportedly taken his children out to do some shopping the night before his death.

He was a graduate of  University of Ilorin where he studied Theater Arts.

At this time, the cause of death is unknown.
