A Christ Apostolic Church  located at Destiny Avenue in Egbeda area of Lagos has been sealed off by the police at the Idimu division over the case of a 2-year-old girl who was allegedly buried alive.

According to reports, the body of the little girl was exhumed for autopsy and the pastor of the church, Dare Ogunloye was arrested by the police.

The Divisional Police Officer, Mike Ochuko, had instructed his men to exhume the corpse from the church premises, a police source confirmed.

To get to the root of the matter, the traditional ruler of Egbeda kingdom, Oba Samson Balogun has urged the Lagos State Government to close down the church permanently if the allegation was true.

When LEADERSHIP visited the area, it was observed that to ensure that the premises remains sealed, a team of policemen was inside and outside the church auditorium, while their Mazda patrol vehicle with registration number BD 36 AW was used to block the entrance of the church.

The bubble was said to have burst on the pastor when a resident close to the church who had gone out to ease himself at about 2 a.m allegedly caught him burying the child in a shallow grave within the church premises.
