It was like a scene out of an action movie when a Jordanian lawmaker on a Live TV show, tossed a shoe and pulled a gun on a political activist while discussing the country’s foreign policies towards Syria.
The video clip showed the TV host trying frantically to separate both gladiators but with limited success.
According to the Times of Israel, The member of parliament, identified as Mohammed Shawabka, got enraged when Mansour Sayf al-Din Murad, a political activist and also a former MP, allegedly insulted his family. In the heated discussion, they had called each other a “crook” and a “Mossad agent”.
This isn’t the first time this year an MP has been caught on tape brawling. In January, an Israeli lawmaker tossed water on a colleague during a routine debate.
We can’t recall our lawmakers raising this much dust on any issue except money and other entitlements.
