As part of the celebrations during the Olympics, Lufodo Productions run by actors, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva have put together a major showcase of Nigerian theatre.
This July, 3 plays have been billed to show around the United Kingdom. The plays are Wole Soyinka’s ‘Lion and the Jewel’, Fred Agbeyegbe’s ‘King must dance naked’ and Sefi Atta’s ‘The Naming Ceremony’.
This plays are also part of the Nollywood at 20 celebrations as there would be a Nollywood film festival and the official opening of ’30 Nigeria House.

I believe the quote I gave them was"I left Nigeria at the age of 16 to ftehurr my education".They condensed my 10 minute interview to 5 lines.I guess I just have to take it on the chin and hope all publicity is good publicity.Let's hope they don't go looking at all the facebook pictures of me partying in Lagos when I'm supposed to be fleeing it.Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for a donation from Jeremy Weate!
