Following the recent flood disasters in some parts of Nigeria and the resultant devastating effects on the affected communities, President Goodluck Jonathan recently inaugurated integrated website for flood relief donations.

President Jonathan previously set up a Presidential Committee on Flood Relief & Rehabilitation on October 11, 2012.

Subsequently, the committee under the chairmanship of business tycoon, Aliko Dangote raised N11 billion but more funds are needed to ease the suffering of the people in that region thus the  President Jonathan has inaugurated an integrated website for flood relief donations.

The website was designed to keep the public up to date with the progress the donations have managed to achieve so far while raising more funds, to complement government’s efforts in mitigating the pains and the post impact rehabilitation of victims of the recent flood disaster.
