Her album has got to be one of the most anticipated in showbiz. And now Waje, the soul singer, has released two singles from that album. The two songs “OkoMi” and “I wish” were released today to coincide with her birthday. Cool eh?
The title of her forthcoming album is WAJE [Words Aren’t Just Enough].
Oko Mi is a romantic song, and the singer herself had this to say about it: “Oko Mi is the song every girl, every woman wants to sing to the man she is in love with.” It was written and produced by Del B.

Her second song. I Wish, was leaked a few weeks ago, and despite that fact, the single with a slow tempo regga beat has enjoyed massive airplay topping radio and online charts alongside major official releases.
“For every heart that has been broken, ‘I wish’ is a song that says I’ve been there, I will survive,” Waje explains. I wish was produced by Papy J.

Waje recently co-hosted The Future Awards on August 26 in Port Harcourt. She was also recently nominated as ‘Best Female Vocal Performer’ for The Headies.
She’s presently in New York, where in addition to celebrating her birthday, she would perform at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
You go, girl!
