Tonto Dikeh is now the easy resource for jokes. The actress’ poorly-received Álbum, rich in what some have cuttingly called ‘autotune of life’, has continued to be the butt of jokes.

Yesterday’s Headies sealed its place as part of the pop culture.

Stepping unto the stage as hosts of the music awards, singer Omawumi who has got rave reviews for a splendid hosting of the show alongside rapper MI Abaga, got the guests laughing as they presented an award to Tonto Dikeh and Vic O.

The two artistes are possibly the most ridiculed singers on social media. – and the joke was not lost on the guests who responded with laughter across the hall!

Omawumi’s laughter didn’t last too long though. After the show, she made a show of grace with a tweet:

“@Omawumi: It was a great show tonight with co-host @MI_Abaga. Most of our conversations were scripted to make a great show. … http://t.co/hXgkrxvi”

Be that as it may, we shudder to think what comedians will do to Tonto when the Christmas shows start!
