Barely 2 days after an explosion rocked the city of Kano, another bomb is said to have gone off in Jos, the capital of Plateau.

The explosion reportedly occurred at about 2:55pm this afternoon near the Terminus market on Ahmadu Bello way.

It has been reported that the sound of the explosion was heard from as far off as the Bukuru area of the state, which is about 20km from the main town.

The casualty figure is not yet known but it is expected to be high due to the mass of people who usually conduct business in the area.
