There are reports that the Leadership Newspapers staff, Tony Amoekedo and correspondent, Chibuzo Ukaibe held by security agents have been released unconditionally.
The arrest has been a source of agitation among observers saying their arrest takes the country back to the days of the military where the freedom of press is stifled by the government.
