The Aiki Employability Symposium organised by Microsoft Nigeria in collaboration with The Future Project takes place at 10:30am on Saturdayat the Hall 3, Silverbird Entertainment Centre, Central Business District (CBD), Abuja.
The Symposium, its maiden edition in the Federal Capital City, aims to assist recent graduates, undergraduates and other youth in and around the city to navigate the peculiar Nigerian labour market.
The goal of the Symposium is to address the labour paradox in the country where a legion of graduates are in the labour market chasing few available jobs.
The problem of employability of graduates and personal development of job applicants will also be discussed.
How can we assist Nigerian youth in bridging the job divide? How can they be guided in transiting from school to work? What are the requirements in getting that job you really want? Can you get jobs on merit without knowing anyone of influence? These are some of the questions we would be answering through the Aiki Employability Symposium.
The event will feature job fair where interested companies will mentor qualified participants so as to set them on the part of employability.
