A friend of second Woolwich suspect has identified him as his mate, Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale but claims his act was a shock.

His friend said Adebowale was completely normal, he converted to Islam from Christianity just like his accomplice, Michael Adebolajo “but seemed normal and was just like one of us at school. He used to preach Islam but preaching peace though”, his friend said speaking  out on ITV’s Daybreak show.

Adebowale is 22 year old from Greenwich, South East London.

According to reports, the two men who beheaded the soldier in a Woolwich street had cropped up in “several  investigations” by the security services in recent years, Whitehall sources  revealed.

But MI5 did not suspect that Michael Adebolajo and his accomplice – named  locally last night as Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale – were planning an attack, the sources said.

  1. Being identified them
as Nigeria’s descent does not qualify them to be Nigerians .

  2. what do you mean by Nigerian? you just said it.he was born and bred in Britain. That means he has held the red passport all his life. He probably has never been to Nigeria.. so how can you call him Nigerian? Just cos he has a Nigerian name? Venus and Serena’s younger sis’ name is Yetunde but that doesnt make her Nigerian… isn’t it?
