#MinisterialPlatform2013: Okonjo-Iweala, Abdullahi give mid-term report today

The 3rd of a month-long series, Ministerial Platform 2013, designed to provide details on President Jonathan’s mid-term report, which began on June 3, 2013 holds today at the Radio House, Abuja.

Making their presentations on the performance of their ministries are Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala , the Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy and the Minister of Finance and Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the Minister of Sports.

 

Last week, the Niger Delta Minister, Elder Godsday Orubebe, the Minister of Labour and Productivity,  Chief Emeka Nwogu, Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Darious Ishaku, Transport Minister, Sen. Idris Umar, Works Minister, Arc. Mike Onolememen, and Minister of State Works, Amb. Bashir Yuguda attended the Ministerial Plaform. Both events which held on June 3rd and June 6th were attended also by the Information Minister, Mr. Labaran Maku.

The Ministerial Platform, an initiative of the Ministry of Information is “designed to promote national conversation and good governance” was attended by the media, organised civil society, the private sector, professional guilds, and organised labour to “make the national conversation on the nation’s development process fully participatory”.

The Ministerial Platform comes up between 11am and 1pm will run will be broadcast live on NTA, FRCN, VON, AIT, and Channels Television as well as the website of the Federal Ministry of Information.
