A married Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi got the shock of his life earlier today when his wife, Lilian Akiyesi, stormed the Overcomers World Outreach church, Aguda, Surulere, venue of his wedding ceremony disrupting proceedings.
Reports say the actor left his wife in Port Harcourt to marry his mistress in Lagos not knowing that the wife, Lilian will hear about it.
There was confusion in the church as she came in making a scene and all efforts to make her see reason fell on deaf hears as she was bent on stopping the ceremony.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, they say.

Of corse he has to do it openly,@ Haleema,yes Islam commands fairness to all the wives in a marraige but d man is in d process of taking d wife so what’s unfair about that? P.S I come from a polygamous home,am a woman and a Muslim I see nothing wrong here. The question I’d like to ask her,is,would she rather have ligitimate Step kids or bastard step kids?
The first question you people should be asking is if he & the first wife had a “legal” wedding, certificate & all.
If they did, the man will be in problems with the law. It won’t matter if he has paid the new one’s bride price a million time over.
It’s sad to see comments here about the first wife so negative. There’s no excuse for irresponsibility. Even Islam that permits a man to have more than one wife states fairness.

Bring the man back to her if the man is a proud. Nigerian man. Besides the white wedding would never had been recognized by the law but the traditional will always be upheld by the same law that is the Nigeria law of you so the woman only mad noise for nothing
point of correction. White weddings are recognised by law. Eg if u are married and u apply for a job, your wedding certificate is the first thing you are asked of. they hold dat in lieu as you do the publication and others. they can never accept word of mouth or pictures of traditional ceremony for such.

Mohamed u are so right. A lot of people are not making sense here. The man will go ahead to do what he wants to do even more after this show of shame that is a man for you besides the traditional wedding comes before the white weddings for every christian that is where the bride price is paid. Once the traditional is done she has become his wife white wedding or not she is still his wife.
Muhammad, there wouldn’t have been a problem if he had stopped at traditional ceremony, but he wanted to mock God and Christianity by legalizing his impunity. Church laws have it that u cannot be wedded twice unless Ur wife is dead. Apart from that he is free to marry even 100 wives traditionally but the Church will only recognize one that is the 1st wedded wife. If he knew what he was right why did he hide it from his wife an family members? He can go on and do what ever he wants to do but why try to behave as if he is innocent by going to wed in the Church. Thank God the wife showed him pepper.
