As a JSS student in 1999, I remember watching AIT Lunch break with Jumobi Adegbesan one day and then she announced that she was going to play a brand new song by Tony Tetuila. Pronto she played it. And then i heard ‘ooooh oooh, sherey o, shrey ayo’. I was glued to the song. I was fascinated and enchanted by 2 face Idibia’s voice.

A star was born. That star rules the music industry till now.

For those who were ‘in town’ back then, Omode Meta Shere by Tony Tetuila was a diss song aimed at Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Remedy of the Remedies for allegedly treating him like sh*t whe he was in the Remedies while he was infact the financier of the group. In this song, we heard Blackface throwing Jibes at Eedris Abdulkareem and Tu Face owning the song with his sweet voice.
