Loic Remy’s move from Queens Park Rangers is being held up by problems with paperwork.

Both Premier League clubs have agreed a £10.5m fee for the French striker, who was flown to Boston to undergo a medical with the Reds.

However, the 27-year-old could not be unveiled on Thursday as planned, but the deal which will see Remy earning £80,000-per-week, could be completed by the end of the weekend.

Remy, who spent last season on loan at Newcastle, scored six goals in 14 goals after he moved to West London, but the club was relegated from the top flight.
