Watch: Chris Brown dissed for lip-syncing at Billboard awards, gets kicked out of Vegas Club

by Tolu Orekoya

Chris Brown performed at the Billboard Music awards this past Sunday, and it seems his performance left a lot to be desired. However, his act did not go down well with his fellow celebrities this was because apart from a few lines to “activate the funzone,” his entire performance was lip-synced. With this performance and subsequent heat, Chris Brown joins Britney Spears and other acts that have been taken to task for lip-syncing.

I gotta support Breezy on the decision to lip-sync though, have you seen the performance? You don’t have to be a fan to see how intense it is.

One of the celebs to pick up on this is Pink, she tweeted: “One day if I lip sync, I hope I do it as well as him (sic).”

Pink’s unimpressed motocross rider husband posted his disapproval with Brown’s lip-syncing on the microblogging site too:

“I’m pretty sure I saw my wife did (sic) that same performance, but she was 3 months pregnant and actually sang the song.” He had to clarify that he wasn’t talking about Katy Perry with this follow-up: “I love twitter! To clarify I was talkin trash bout CB performance, 2 years ago my wife had the same set and actually sang “Raise ur Glass”.

When you get a swimsuit model chipping in about your performance, you know it was bad. Chrissy Teigen, swimsuit model and John Legend’s current girlfriend tweeted, “Why sing when you can dance?”

Finally Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers tweeted: “What happened to people singing live??? …..”

Chris Breezy himself finally took to Twitter to respond to his “haters” sending out messages such as – “Don’t hold ya breath waiting for me to stop doing me!”

“Anyone who is upset obviously is upset with their lives… Make your music… make a difference… Be better than me! God bless!” and finally after his fans began to tweet viciously at his detractors, he posted this:

“Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y’all bout that life but it’s the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!”.

It seems that he had a busy weekend, as New York Post‘s Page Six reported that earlier on Saturday night, the troubled R & B star got into an “incident” over a group of women in Las Vegas, Nevada nightclub, Haze.

After spending time romancing the ladies with “multiple bottles of Champagne”, the ladies decided that they wanted none of the notoriously short-tempered star and moved on to another group of guys. A witness at the club told Page Six, “Brown got visibly upset when the girls moved on to the next table. Brown approached the guys in the group [at the next table] and started getting visibly agitated. Brown stood up, and looked like he was about to start a fight when club security stopped him.”

Breezy’s people told Page Six than none of it was true, but their witness begged to differ. “He got in the guy’s face and was cursing at him, and saying, ‘Are these girls with you or with me?’ The guy was stunned by it. Things were close to getting extremely ugly. Then Chris’ security and club security escorted him out.”

The club acknowledged that Breezy was involved in an incident but refused to go into detail. The club rep said, “Haze has a zero tolerance policy for violence.”
