Reports were made earlier today as to how police officers in Rivers disrupted a rally organized by the All Progressives Congress.

The “Save Rivers” rally was due to take place at the College of Arts and Science in the centre of Port Harcourt, the capital city but even before it began, police officers dismantled the canopies erected for the event.

They also began harassing the proposed attendees of the rally and according to the reporter in the video, they even seized phones and iPads from journalists.

Senator Magnus Abe who was to be a stakeholder at the event was also said to have been shot by the police officers.
