 by ‘Ifreke Inyang

So, what? Just because it’s Banky W – it had to be hot?

Snort.

So we took our time to listen and find out if Mr. Capable brought it home again? And.. Oh yes he did!

Banky W has given us a taste of what to expect from his forthcoming album titled ‘R & BW’. They are two new hot singles titled ‘Low key’ and ‘Setting P’. Low key is a slow R&B jam that is completely infectious, while ‘Setting P’ is one for the DJs and party lovers.

The Sarz-produced #LowKey is a compelling R&B slow jam which highlights the fact that Mr Wellington is one of the best in the business.  Banky W’s vocal dexterity and his songwriting prowess over captivating keyboard and violin arrangements and well-placed drum patterns is a joy to listen to.

‘Setting P’ was co-produced by MasterKraft and Banky W  and  is a massive dance floor filler.  It is enriched by lush percussions and talking drums and grandiose synths which fuse beautifully with Banky W’s undeniable vocals that will most definitely get you dancing for all of four minutes.

In both songs,  he effortlessly shows off his versatility as he flexes his rapping skills on ‘Setting P’ and ‘Low Key’. With these two songs, Banky W has officially returned as the King of African R&B and we can hardly wait for his forthcoming #R&BW Album!
